The AERE’ Surface Support Craft provides a safe, stable, dry working platform for your special requirements. The SSC offers a clear heavy duty working platform of approximately 64 square feet, able to handle heavy equipment, motors, anchors, and other requirements.

AERE' Surface Support Craft
The
AERE’ SSC fulfills a distinctive need in the diving and underwater
recovery industry. A dry, safe, stable working platform, capable of handling
heavy or awkward equipment and materials in an efficient, cost effective manner.
The SSC measures 16 x 8 feet and provides a work platform of approximately 8 x 8 feet in its standard configuration.
With a lifting capacity of 3000 lbs and the
unique ability to store in a compact 2 x 2 x 8 foot box (its own decks), make
this a totally unique concept. The SSC does not require a trailer, stows almost
anywhere, and is ready for use in under 15 minutes.
The SSC can be launched in previously inaccessible or environmentally sensitive locations, providing reduced response time and recovery to these locations. Environmental impact in these sensitive areas is greatly reduced due to its minimal draft requirements (less than 5 inches with 2 persons and gear), its inflatable hulls, and its ability to be assembled on site.
The standard SSC comes complete with a
quadric frame mounting assembly, including a hand winch and center deck opening.
It will serve as a portable, lightweight floating derrick, perfectly suited for
salvage work and heavy object relocation.
Used as a rescue or handling platform for marine animals, the unique design produces minimum stress on the animal and allows for maximum access to the injured or stranded animal, resulting in a significantly higher success rate.
The AERE’ SSC can be assembled, launched, used and recovered by one person when necessary. The SSC is complete and ready to use upon delivery.
