The
International
Register of Scuba Technicians
Thanks to the work and effort of the
International Association of Scuba Technicians, those of you on the Register
have been amongst the first
recognized by the diving industry as having achieved set standards and a level
of expertise deserving the title of Scuba Repair Technicians.
The IAST has
been put on hold due to the economic situation, the site can still be found at IAST.US under
re-construction
CAUTION:

NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING MONEY OR REGISTRATIONS, THE ONLY LEGITIMATE REGISTER IS
ASSEMBLED AND REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF DIVING TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL AND THE
IAST, UNTIL WE ARE ABLE TO OPEN AGAIN ANY OTHER CLAIMS ARE ILLEGITIMATE, PLEASE
DO NOT BE FOOLED.
The Registry is designed to provide
the public with a list of qualified technicians, the Technician with recognition
as a professional in the industry, and with
a source of peer access for networking on pertinent issues.
WHEN WE RE-OPEN:
Initial registry application, including first year and membership in the IAST, is $35 and proof of
recognition level. These records are maintained on file at Diving Technologies
(IAST records have been transferred to Diving Technologies) and provide our
certification of your level of recognition.
Yearly membership and maintenance is $25.
Training and service facilities may be recognized with a Technician for
an additional $15.
You will receive certificates of membership in the IAST and recognition as a
member of the International Register of Scuba Technicians and will be listed on
the International Register.

RECORDS ARE STILL HELD ON FILE AS WE LOOK FORWARD TO RE-ESTABLISHING THE
ASSOCIATION IN THE NEAR FUTURE
